On Thursday the 28th of March I got my Tongue web also known as the Frenulum piercing, this was the least painful piercing I have experienced! The lovely gentleman at Acreedo, Abingdon was comforting as he could tell I was incredibly nervous, I love the staff at Acreedo they are good people. If you live in Oxford area and looking for somewhere to get a piercing Acreedo is my top suggestion, £15 a piercing the studio is clean and the staff are comforting.
The man told me to lay back with my head back and my tongue touching the top of my mouth, the most painful part of the piercing was him attaching the clamp to the Tongue web itself. My best friend was there the whole time holding my hand shes there for every one of my piercings, I love her incredible amounts! On the bus on the way back to Oxford centre my mouth grew incredibly dry and I found it very difficult to talk without locking my jaw, I guess that was my way of comforting myself.
After care is simple, Colgate Alcohol free and antibacterial mouthwash has been my friend for the last week! After every meal I would run to the ladies room and rinse out my mouth, but the hardest thing about this piercing is NO ALCOHOL? Seeing as it is my boyfriends birthday this weekend to have to turn down alcohol is hard for me.
So here is my advice for Tongue web piercings, I hope it helps people I will leave you with a picture of it.
